The Beatles

The Beatles have inspired me through and through. I live my life by The Beatles.  Here are a few of my favorite quotes from some of their songs.

"Got to be good-looking cause he's so hard to see"
This is from the song Come Together.
This song was written primarily by John Lennon. Like always, the credit is given to Lennon/McCartney
This song can be found on the Abbey Road album that was released in September of 1969.

"Mean Mr. Mustard, sleeps in the park, shaves in the dark, trying to save paper"
This quote is from the song Mean Mr. Mustard.
A very short song from the Abbey Road album.
This song was also written by John Lennon

"I want to tell her that I love her, but I gotta got a belly full of wine"
This is from Her Majesty.
It was written by Paul McCartney
This song is also from the Abbey Road album.

"And in the end, the love you take, is equal to, the love you make."
This is the main verse in The End.
This is again another short song in the Abbey Road album.
This quote is possibly one of my all time favorite quotes. It means a lot to me and this is one of those quotes that I try really hard to live my life by.

"I'll pretend that i'm kissing, the lips I am missing, and hope that my dreams will come true."
This is a clip from the song All My Loving
This song is NOT from the album Abbey Road. It's from With The Beatles that was released in 1963.
This is was written by Paul McCartney

"We would shout and swim about, the coral that lies beneath the waves. Oh what joy for every girl and boy."
This is from Ringo Starr's song Octopus' Garden.
This song is also found on Abbey Road.

These are just a few of the many great lyrics The Beatles wrote.  Words cannot describe how magnificent they were.  Everyone of them.  Most of the credit for many of their songs go to Paul McCartney and John Lennon.  However, John Lennon and Paul McCartney would not have gotten as far as they did without the help and assistance from George Harrison, and, one of my personal favorites, Ringo Starr. If I learned anything from this blog, Abbey Road might be one of my favorite albums. :)
